

The Philippine Nurses Association - Texas Golden Triangle (PNA-TGT) is a professional, voluntary, non-sectarian, and non-profit nursing organization purposely established to provide a forum to uphold the professional image and foster the welfare of the Filipino-American nurses and its Associate members in Southeast Texas.
Mission Statement
To lead and inspire nurses in Southeast Texas to be catalysts for change in healthcare; uplift the positive image of the Filipino nurses; uphold the social welfare of its constituent members; promote and support professional excellence through education and community involvement.
Objectives

Promote activities that will enhance a sense of unity among the Filipino American nurses and its Associate members in the Texas Golden Triangle area

Establish networks with professional organizations and agencies to develop and implement programs relevant to nursing practice, education, and research.

Engage in community activities to promote health, wellness, and professional development in Southeast Texas.

Support the cultural and professional transition of Filipino American nurses, in their integration into the Texas Golden Triangle Community.

Preserve and promote Filipino heritage by collaborating with organizations and agencies in cultural initiatives and activities.

Support college-bound youth of Filipino ethnic origin who pursues nursing education through Student Ambassador Program and Nursing Scholarship Program

Promote and support the mission and goals of PNAA, Inc.
Representation
PNATGT represents Filipino American nurses in the Texas Golden Triangle region and its nearby cities in Southeast Texas, supporting their professional development, advocacy, and leadership within the nursing community. The organization is affiliated with the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA) and adheres to the mission, vision, and core values set forth by its national counterpart.
